I brought my dog (Apollo) to Ridgeside K9 Carolinas and it was honestly the best decision I've made. Before Ridgeside Apollo was very disobedient, would only listen on his terms, he would pull on-leash and off-leash he would try to run away. Now he is a totally different dog. Apollo listens when I give a command and he is so well trained he can be off-leash without me worrying he will take off. They also taught me the proper way to handle Apollo. The freedom he and I have now is absolutely amazing and we can go so many more places. Words can not describe how happy I am with Ridgeside K9 Carollinas. I would recommend them to anyone with a dog, they are the best!

I contemplated sending our dog hank to Will and his team for the longest (like 6 months) because it was rather expensive. I decided to send hank to Will and his team with basic obedience already under his belt. Hank would pull like a sled dog on just about any collar/harness and just wasn’t trustworthy off leash. Cue Will and his team. Hank attended their off leash obedience program and when we came to pick hank back up, he was a totally different dog! When they say they give your dog a 100% reliable recall they mean it! We are able to do so much more with hank now because we are not constricted by where we can take him. Sending hank to Will and his team was the best decision we’ve ever made, and we made some lifelong friends along the way! Thank you for all you’ve done!

Sending my dog to Ridgeside K9 NC was the best decision I made all year! Before the board and train, Walter was a bundle of energy who had no ability to self-calm. Every time we’d leave him, he would work himself up into a panic and bark non-stop. Since his board and train he’s a changed man! Not only is he obedient, but he is noticeably calmer and more relaxed both alone and with us. I can’t speak highly enough about the quality of training we experienced! All of the team was very responsive, supportive, and always willing to answer questions. I will 100% send all of my future dogs their way. Thanks so much!

As a new comer to the Morehead/ New Bern area I first adopted my dog without having the slightest clue as to how to train her. I went to several other dog trainers in an attempt to learn how to safely and effectively get her to be calm around other animals and people out in public. But unfortunately their methods were not cutting it. Will, Taylor, and the Carolinas Ridgeside K9 team has superseded all my expectations when I first entered my dog in for the off leash B&T. Not only Is she calm but she can finally be trusted off leash without strict supervision. The Ridgeside K9 team was very helpful and extremely professional when they were training me.
