Our specialty. Leash reactivity, dog-on-dog, human aggression, resource guarding, fear biting. The dog every trainer said no to.

4 to 10 month puppies. Crate, potty, leash, door, socialization, confidence. Do it right the first time, and it holds for life.

The Ridgeside K9 Standard

We do not enroll dogs we cannot help.

Most companies pitch you no matter what. We will not. If your dog is not a fit for the program, if the timing is off, if we honestly do not think we can move the needle, we tell you and point you to who can. When we say yes to a Havelock family's dog, we do it because we know we can help. And if you finish the program and get stuck, we keep coaching you for the life of your dog at no charge.

Havelock FAQ

The questions Havelock families ask us.

Do you actually drive up to Havelock for pickup?
Yes. Every board and train program includes door-to-door pickup and delivery, and Havelock is inside our standard service area. We come to you on drop-off day and return your dog on pickup day.
How is this different from Cherry Point base kennel services?
Base kennels are boarding. We are training. Your dog does not sit in a run. Your dog lives inside a certified trainer's home for 21 days learning to actually live in a household. On pickup day the dog comes back trained, not just watched.
Can you handle a dog that has been in a crate for two deployments?
Yes. Dogs of deployed spouses often lose reliability because the routine has been fractured for years. We reset the entire structure, rebuild reliability, and hand you back a dog with a system you can hold even under military life stress.
Do you offer Cherry Point military discounts?
Yes. Same military rate we honor for Camp Lejeune. Active duty, retirees, veterans, and immediate family. Ask on the evaluation call.

Havelock families deserve the same standard.

Every program starts with a free 20-minute evaluation call. Twenty minutes on the phone, zero pressure, real answers about your dog and whether the program fits your Havelock household. Book yours below.
